• BAP Core
  •  Bamboo. Aspen. Paulownia. K2 has blended three species of renewable wood to assemble a snowboard core that’s strong, lightweight, and designed to enhance dampening without the addition of other materials.
    
• SpaceGlass Tip and Tail Inserts
  • An American made Aerospace grade precure fiberglass core insert used to provide unmatched structural performance at reduced weight. SpaceGlass™ inserts increase edge hold along contact points, reduce chatter, and provide unequaled durability.
• Wax Infused Sintered 4001 Base
  • Built using the hardest and fastest Sintered base material on the market from Crown, the Wax–Infused Sintered 4001 holds wax longer than other Sintered bases for a smoother glide, longer.
• Triax Glass
  • A glass laminate with diagonal layers that adds torsional stiffness for increased stability and improved edge hold. The fibers three layers of fibers are woven at 45°, 45°, and 0°. This makes for a more responsive ride longitudinally and torsionally.
• Carbon Backbone
  • Tip to tail carbon – Carbon Backbone ™ an insert that runs down the center of the snowboard and adds response, rebound, and precise control on approaches and landing heavy tricks. Add snap to every ollie with the Carbon Backbone ™.
• Carbon Dark Web
  • A carbon fiber X-pattern that is strategically placed underfoot from edge-to-edge to speed up transitions, increase control, and improve underfoot strength.
• Stone Ground Base
  •  Boards that leave K2’s factory with a Stone Ground finish, come with a flat, open p-tex base, structured to perform well in all snow conditions,  properly absorb wax, and glide faster than a belt sanded board.
• 2 x 4 inserts
  • Binding Inserts that are still 4cm apart width-wise but in rows that are 2cm apart up and down the board.
• Twin Camber Profile
  • A full camber all the way out or near the contact points offers an ultra-responsive and stable ride. Twin Camber Profile provides a powerful and precise platform for freestyle maneuvers in all terrain conditions and delivers the most pop available in the K2 line.
• Hybritech Construction
  • Backed by years of rigorous testing, Hybritech is the most eco-friendly, lightest, and most durable snowboard construction on the market. Removing all excess plastic material in the tip and tail and adding a 3D capped edge to increase the bond strength of the fiberglass, decreasing the swing weight of the board, and reducing thousands of pounds of plastic needing during the manufacturing process is what makes Hybritech so revolutionary.
